I started at Princess as a Junior Graphic Designer in

March of 2021 and was promoted to Graphic Designer

8 months later in November of 2021.

I currently work on a variety of projects between onboard signage, digital and print ads, LTO campaigns, illustrations, emails, and printed direct messaging such as postcards, brochures, magazines, and double gatefolds.

I've also been a producer on commercial photoshoots, as well as collaborate on a rebrand.

Magic Castle partnership

Overview: The Magic Castle Conjurer's cruise was a brand new initiative inviting guests to experience the magic of our new ship Sun Princess, and the famous Magic Castle. This cruise featured drinks and events catered to the wonder of magic, along with including top magicians such as Michael Carbonaro.

Challenges: This collaboration took place on a brand new ship, in which had a lot of exciting new technologies we could execute for brand positioning. However, we had to pivot many times over to ensure things such as digital screens were readable from certain vantage points. Timing and costs also played a huge factor in what we could and couldn't produce. Some collateral we could not execute a gold foil on, in which case I created a gold gradient to still give that effect.

Overall, I was able to design all of the onboard collateral to support this campaign, and partnered with the owners of Magic Castle to ensure a cohesive branding across all assets.

Sun and Star princess
double-gatefold

Overview: The Sun and Star Princess are part of the Sphere class - a brand new class of ships for Princess and the biggest one yet. Sun premiered in 2024, and this double-gatefold was to excite guests and inform them of the ships to come.

Challenges: Most of our photography was lacking for both Sun and Star, as the ships were either not complete, or we hadn't had a proper photoshoot to capture the venues yet. Thus, we had to blend renders with our current photography to fully capture the new and exciting features of the ships. We also wanted an elevated piece, and though we didn't have it in the budget for extra finishes, I pitched the concept of having the double-gatefold open with a die-cut circle to emphasize this new class of ships with a visual - a sphere.

Sun princess menus

Overview: The Sun Princess was not only an introduction to the brand new sphere class, but it also brought on brand new restaurants and cuisine. We were tasked with creating the overall branding and menus for these new additions.

Challenges: Because of the timeline (we were tasked with having these approved, produced, and delivered in two months), and the budget, we were limited to the finishes and materials our vendor had available on hand. Without jeopardizing quality or style, we were able to design, produce, and execute all of these menus in time for a press event and to distribute it to the new ship.

Epic voyages booklet

Overview: The Epic Voyages was a new initiative to encourage guests to book longer voyages. This booklet was to send to our guests to explain why they should consider booking these more expansive routes.

Challenges: There was too much information requested from the original brief. I had to have a discussion with the stakeholders to see what we wanted to prioritize. One thing I suggested was for us to remove the route lines, as the maps were small and busy enough as is. We also suggested to keep under certain character counts for body copy to not clutter the pieces.
